About the Gallery

A Space Devoted
to the New

Galleria Arte opened its doors in 2011 with a conviction that has never wavered: great art deserves a great space, and audiences deserve to encounter it without pretension. Founded by curator Élise Marchand, the gallery occupies a restored industrial hall flooded with natural light in the city's arts district.

We show four to six major exhibitions a year, alongside an ongoing programme of talks, openings, and collector events. Whether you are a seasoned collector or visiting your first gallery, you are welcome here.

Galleria Arte is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (until 9:00 PM on Thursdays). We are closed on Mondays and major public holidays. The cafe and bookshop keep the same hours.

The permanent collection is always free. Special temporary exhibitions are $18 general admission, $12 concession, and free for all members and under-18s. Members enjoy unlimited free entry to every exhibition.

Many works in temporary exhibitions are available for acquisition. Our front desk can connect you with our art advisory team, who guide collectors through pricing, provenance, and the acquisition process. Private viewing rooms are available by appointment.

Yes. Free 45-minute guided tours run daily at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Curator-led in-depth tours are offered weekly and are complimentary for Patron and Benefactor members. Group and school tours can be arranged via the contact form.

Fully. The gallery is step-free throughout, with lift access to all levels, accessible restrooms, wheelchairs available on loan, and assistance dogs welcome. Large-print exhibition guides and audio guides are available at the front desk.
