I started The Hungry Fork in 2016 after years of cooking professionally and getting tired of recipes that either didn't work or assumed you had a restaurant kitchen. My promise is simple: every recipe here is tested at least three times in a normal home kitchen before it's published.

Every recipe is cooked at least three times in a normal home kitchen — by me and by a small group of recipe testers — before it goes live. We test for clarity, timing, and reliability across different ovens and skill levels. If a recipe isn't foolproof, it doesn't get published.

Kitchen Plus members can drag any recipe into a weekly calendar, and the planner automatically generates a categorised shopping list — combining ingredients across recipes so you don't end up buying three separate bunches of parsley. You can adjust serving sizes and it recalculates everything instantly.

Absolutely — reader requests are where some of our most popular recipes come from! Free subscribers can suggest ideas via the contact form, and Annual members get priority requests. If enough people want something, it goes straight to the top of my testing list.

Yes. Recipes are clearly tagged for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free, and most include substitution notes. You can filter the recipe box by dietary requirement. We're steadily expanding our allergen-friendly collection based on what readers ask for most.
